Client Relationship's role is to build a whole of Defence 'Communities of Practice' for education and training. In doing so, the directorate provides a single point of contact for DLB clients, brokers relationships between clients and the DLB to facilitate the provision of high quality services and oversees of the delivery of learning solutions provided by the DLB to ensure they meet customer requirements.

Client Management

Client Management is the entry point to training analysis, design, development, conduct (delivery) and evaluation services provided by DLB. The role of Client Managers is to ensure that learning and development solutions across Defence are aligned with the Department's strategic priorities, and represent an efficient, effective and ethical use of Departmental resources.

Client Managers work closely with Business Skilling Domains and the three Services to produce cost-effective and quality training solutions across the entire Australian Defence Organisation. These solutions may be face-to-face, e-Learning, distance or blended learning approaches. The development of the right solution for your performance gap begins with a review of existing courses and a conversation with your Client Manager.
