The United States and China: Competition and Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region: Implications for Australia
The Conference will address a topical and important issue that will shape Australia's external environment for the foreseeable future. The Conference will address the strategic implications of the rise of China and analyse the issues which underlie the US-China relationship. The third session of the Conference will address the implications for Australia of these forces in play. Attendees will be able to hear the views of prominent academics, members of major think-tanks, Defence specialists and Government policy practitioners on these salient questions.
The confernece will be held at the Blamey Theatre, Australian Defence College site at Weston Creek, Canberra.
