Defence Implementation Plan
A Defence Implementation Plan (DIP) has been developed to enable monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the 17 Defence actions and 11 measures in the National Action Plan (NAP).
Corporal Katie Lockwood patrols a shura location, where a female Engagement Team engages with local women from the Afghan Security Forces.
It includes tasks which provide greater emphasis and focus on gender mainstreaming activities that align with international, UN and NATO efforts to integrate gender perspective into armed forces, military operations and missions and planning processes and align with the intent of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and related resolutions.
The DIP is a dynamic matrix to enable the inclusion of additional tasks as they arise. A Working Group will meet quarterly to facilitate implementation and progress of tasks.
