Where is Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)?

Unexploded Ordnance can be found in most States and Territories of Australia. Defence has undertaken research to identify and define these locations.

This information is provided to allow members of the public and other interested parties to identify land parcels potentially affected by UXO.

Clicking on the map below will take you to the Defence UXO Mapping Application. Please be aware that the application has to load a very large background data set and this may take some time. Further information to assist in using the interactive mapping application can be found on this page.
