underwater recovery (Cormorant Lift Bag)
The LSA Cormorant Lift Bag (CLB) was developed for the Royal Australian Navy for recovery of underwater ordinance.
The CLB has the capability of lifting a 1000kg object from a depth of between 5 and 90 metres and is operated acoustically, sending commands and receiving information, from up to a kilometre away.
The LSA CLB has received favourable interest from various navies worldwide, particularly from the United States, Singapore, Denmark and Japan.
