The LSA MES is the only inclined slide system in the world that delivers passengers and crew into large capacity liferafts without the use of a boarding platform of any type. The system also has the unique capability of retrieving passengers in a rescue situation.

The LSA Marine Evacuation System is the safest, fastest, most compact and lightweight inflatable evacuation system in the world. The LSA MES can be easily adapted to meet the needs of passenger ship operators and military requirements alike.



A standard MES (consisting of a 17-metre twin path evacuation slide and a 100-person self-righting SOLAS A liferaft) costs AUD$155,000.

The LSA MES is installed on a number of military vessels, such as HNLMS John de Witt and HNLMS Holland (Dutch Navy); MV Susitna, FSF-1 Sea Fighter and HSV-2 Swift (US Navy); HMNZS Canterbury, RFA Argus (Royal Fleet Auxiliary) and French Navy vessels Mistral and Tonnerre. Current orders include vessels for the Dutch Navy, US Navy and the UK Navy Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers.
