GKNAES was established in Australia in August 2001 to service the global demand for engineering services. Headquartered in the aerospace precinct of Port Melbourne and with offices in Sydney and Brisbane, GKNAES has undergone strong and consistent growth since inception and now has over 150 staff.

GKNAES is an export-orientated company, with over 90 of all work being exported to aerospace primes and OEMs in the USA and Europe.

GKN Aerospace Engineering Services (GKNAES) offers global engineering services to civil and military aerospace projects and other industries, including marine.

GKNAES' core capabilities are in structural analysis and design, electrical design and engineering and system installation design and cover the full product life cycle from concept through detailed design to in-service support.

All GKNAES activities are undertaken within the framework of a rigorous, yet flexible corporate structure, which includes program management framework, a fully accredited quality system, supply chain management and airworthiness and product assurance capabilities.

Engineering capabilities are backed by strength in engineering processes that are required to service our global customers on large-scale engineering projects.
