Thomas electronics develops and supplies a wide range of ruggedised displays for defence and aerospace applications. These can be configured to suit each customer's special requirements.

CThomas can use its international supplier network to source the appropriate display components for the application. Rugged housings can then be developed to meet any requirements specified by the customer including:

  • MIL-STD 461C Electromagnetic Compatibility
  • MIL-STD 810 Environmental

Customised mechanical arrangements are also easily accommodated using advanced CAD modelling and CNC manufacturing techniques. One recent example was the development and supply of LCD panels for the Kalkara UAV (Un-manned Airborne Vehicle) program ground control station.
