Crossbow's new technology was developed by Tenix for the ANZAC Ship program to fill a gap in the market for a data warehousing solution which provides meaningful near-time insight into operational data originating from disparate sources.

The commercialisation of Crossbow has been the major endeavour of Tenix Connections. Crossbow was awarded the Australian Information Industry Association 2004 Winner Commercialisation of Intellectual Property category of the Australian Information Industry Association's 2004 iAwards.
