Poly Systems Pty Ltd

Following seven years of research and development, Poly Systems was incorporated (July 2001) to commercialise innovative projects with a focus on harnessing the unique energy source capabilities of liquid CO2, under contract collaboration arrangements with R&D agencies (DSTO and ANSTO). The Poly Systems developed military capabilities offer a range of in-field technical superiorities for conventional and special forces engaged in terrestrial, marine and air warfare by negating SOPs with previously unattainable scales of economy and continuing cyclic rates of fire.

The successful Australian military trialling of the Poly Systems stand-off rounds (SORs) has added a new capability to IEDD operations by improving response personnel safety and enabling three metres from target discharge. This is being added to by the development of an eight-shot dearmer/disrupter allowing multiple on target shots to effectively open vehicles or gain entry to buildings without requiring any reloading procedure in proximity to a device.
