C4i systems - tactical and strategic HQs
The development of decision support systems and command support systems for the Australian Defence Force has been at the core of Saab's business for two decades. The products developed have included:
- Battlefield Command Support System for Brigade and below planning and monitoring of tactical operations
- Mine Warfare Data Centre for operational planning, review of sonar data and preparation of electronic minefield charts.
- Commanders' Briefing Tool - a laptop facility for the preparation of Military Appreciation Plans and delivery of comprehensive briefings of ground forces situations for commanders.
- Intelligence Planning and Analysis System for Joint HQ planning tasks
- Tactical Command and Control System an army ground based air defence command and control system providing coordination of radars and weapon detachments and target allocation.
- Naval Multi-Link system to simultaneously operate Link-11, Link-16, VMF and JREAP.
- Widely Integrated Systems Environment for quick and easy transfer of data between widely varying C2 systems.
