Overseas deployments and postings - ADF

ADF members who are assigned for operational duty and who deploy overseas on operations are provided with enhanced benefits.

These may include:

  • additional allowances
  • taxation concessions
  • greater home loan assistance
  • additional leave
  • honours and awards

The applicable conditions of service/benefit depend on the nature of the particular operation and the length of the member's deployment.
