You may get Special Forces disability allowance to make up for the special demands of service in the Special Forces environment.
You may get Special Forces disability allowance if you are a member of the:

You may also get Special Forces disability allowance if you:
You may be paid an annual rate or a daily rate of allowance.
Your allowance may change depending on where you are posted and what your duties are.
You may not get Special Forces disability allowance if you are providing low level support.
You may not get Special Forces disability allowance if you aren't in a Special Forces role for a specified period.
If you get a daily rate of Special Forces disability allowance, you can’t get deployment allowance.
If you get Special Forces disability allowance and clearance diver allowance or unpredictable explosives allowance at the same time, you get whichever rate is higher.
If you get trainee allowance, you may also get Special Forces disability allowance.
If you get Special Forces disability allowance you may not get some other allowances at the same time. These include:
