    Navy Lieutenant Daniel Prowse is among 15 serving Defence members and 21 RSL sponsored athletes competing in the inaugural Invictus Games in London. LEUT Prowse joined the Navy in 2009 and is a qualified Maritime Warfare Officer, Damage Control Instructor and Boarding Officer. He currently works as a project support officer with a logistics information and communications technology project, and is looking forward to returning to his training as a Maritime Geospatial Officer-Hydrography. He is being treated for a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety. LEUT Prowse works at RAAF Williams-Laverton while undergoing rehabilitation which allows him the opportunity to reside in his old locality surrounded by family and friends. He will be competing in 100m sprint, 50m backstroke, swimming relay, archery and wheelchair basketball.

    Retired Army Warrant Officer, Dennis Ramsay will be among 15 serving Defence members and 21 RSL sponsored athletes competing in the Invitcus Games in London. The war veteran served in Timor Leste (1999 and 2003), Iraq (2004) and Afghanistan (2006 -2007), will compete in the seated throws (javelin, shot put and discus) as well as wheelchair basket ball, wheel-chair rugby and seated volleyball. Dennis uses prosthetics lower legs and a wheel-chair since losing both legs to an illness after returning from Afghanistan in 2007.
