Lateral Recruits

Congratulations on receiving your confirmation of Intent to Enlist in the Australian Defence Force!

This information pack provides advice on Lateral Recruit administration relevant to the work that the Overseas Administration Team (OAT) will complete for you. Please read it carefully; ensure you complete all requirements and retain a copy of all paperwork for your reference.

It is important to gain an understanding of the location to which you will be posted. The OAT recommends that you research the medical, educational and environmental conditions of your posting location. Your Unit Point of Contact (PoC) may also be able to provide you with more information relevant to your particular situation.
