The DSG NPOC Instruction
The purpose of this instruction is to outline the Net Personnel and Operating Costs (NPOC) policy and processes associated with the provision of DSG products and services through the Infrastructure approval process. This instruction should be read in conjunction with the Defence Policy for the Programming and Management of Net Personnel and Operating Costs. (NPOC). At this time, the parametric measures are in the process of being updated and will be published as soon as they are available. The Template
The Template attempts to capture any facilities related NPOC funding requirements associated with MCF projects. An Other Product/Activity line has been included which should be used when you have a cost that is not specified in the template.

The template consists of three parts:

Current Personnel and Operating Cost - this part should contain the existing baseline,
Future Personnel and Operating Cost - this part should capture projected future costs and;
Net Personnel and Operating Cost - this is automatically calculated as the variation between the future cost less the existing baseline.

For CSIR Parts 1, 2 and SBC only broad order costs at category level are required with the appropriate threshold levels. At DBC, detailed estimates by budget code (if possible) are required, and all figures should be entered in $0.000m and only the additional cost should be included.
