Corporate Services & Infrastructure Requirement (CSIR) Part 1 Process
Technical Authority: DGEP
Subject Matter Expert: DBP/DICE

This is an internal only process

**THIS PROCESS IS TO BE USED FOR POTENTIAL PPP PROJECTS and CAPITAL PROJECTS COSTING OVER $500K**
For projects costing under $500K, the Estate Maintenance - CSIR Process should be followed.

The Corporate Services & Infrastructure Requirement (CSIR) informs the structured process of prioritised decision-making within the Defence Support & Reform Group (DSRG). It is used for planning the future delivery of the full range of DSG products and services and is known as the Strategic Screening process.

In all instances where a Sponsor (internal/DSRG or external) has an additional or increased requirement for DSRG products and services that is likely to consume DSG resources, a CSIR Part 1 is to be raised by the Sponsor.

The aim of the CSIR Part 1 is to detail the requirement, advise why it is necessary, state when it is required, provide estimate costings, detail funding responsibilities, and detail the consequences of not meeting the requirement.
