1) Check each potential siting option against the criteria listed in Table 1.

Table 1 identifies certain conditions or issues to be considered for each siting option.

Full Reviews are undertaken for projects where their siting is deemed to be a significant risk and Regional Reviews are undertaken for projects whose siting is considered to be low risk.

Generally, if none of the listed conditions are considered to be relevant to any of the siting options, the Regional Review Process may be followed.

As stated at Step 1 , the conditions listed in the table are not exhaustive.

A project, due to its nature, scale or complexity, can still receive a Full Review at the direction of ASEP or Regional Director.
