Monday, 10 October is World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to mental health education, awareness and advocacy. The health and wellbeing of all Defence personnel is an ongoing priority and throughout the month of October Defence conducts a range of activities to focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Every year since 2012 the Australian Defence Force (ADF) has conducted an activity to coincide with World Mental Health Day, highlighting a particular aspect of mental health.
The theme for 2016 is 'Let's Talk'. This is about reinvigorating the conversation about mental health, how to provide support to others and how to seek support when needed.
