ADF Service: Joined the Army in 1997. I completed officer training at the Australian Defence Force Academy and the Royal Military College before graduating as an Intelligence Officer. I served in Iraq in 2006/07 before discharging in 2015.

Current Town: Aix-en-Provence, France accompanying my husband on a posting with the Army.

What is the Nature of your injury or illness?

I suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and major depressive disorder following my deployment to Iraq.

What role has sport played in your rehabilitation?

Sport and fitness has been crucial in my recovery. I have used sport to manage my condition and help maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

Being a mother to my two sons.

Why did you apply for the Invictus Games?

Sport is integral to managing my illness. Invictus Games and belonging to the Invictus family gives me a huge sense of pride and determination. Representing my country in the sporting arena will be a dream come true.
