What is the Nature of your injury or illness?

Removal of two lumbar vertebrae due to tumours.

What role has sport played in your rehabilitation?

It has been a big motivator for me. When I was recovering in hospital I imagined being back on the golf course which was my incentive to get better.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

Walking the Kokoda Track and returning to fully deployable status after surgery.

Why did you apply for the Invictus Games?

I wanted to challenge myself, to see how far I could push myself and to maximise what functionality I had left. I wanted something to motivate me and work towards.
