What is the Nature of your injury or illness?

Back, arm and leg injuries as a result of being hit by a car.

What role has sport played in your rehabilitation?

Returning to sport and fitness after being sedentary for an extended period has helped me remain motivated and positive. It has shown me that anything is achievable if you give it a go and helped me improve my overall fitness and general wellbeing, enabling me to move forward.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

Not letting my injuries beat me by having a positive outlook on life.

Why did you apply for the Invictus Games?

I wanted the opportunity to represent both the Australian Defence Force and Australia in Toronto. I also wanted to push myself both mentally and physically through sport and fitness.
