What is the Nature of your injury or illness?

I have depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

What role has sport played in your rehabilitation?

Sport has played a vital role in my rehabilitation, it’s one of the reasons I get up every day and it provides me with focus and inspiration.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

Competing in the Australian Ironman Triathlon, while living with injuries as a result of my military service.

Why did you apply for the Invictus Games?

I wanted to meet other current and ex-serving military personnel from all over the world, who are on the same journey as I am.

I wanted to make my family, who have continually supported me, be as proud of me as they have ever been. I wanted to have my sons with me in the moment, cheering, and supporting, as one military family.
