ADF Service: Joined the Army in 1995 as a reservist before transferring to the full time Army in 1997. I served in East Timor in 1999/2000 and 2002 as a paratrooper before discharging in 2003.

What is the Nature of your injury or illness?

I suffer from Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder (PTSD).

What role has sport played in your rehabilitation?

It gives me motivation and helps with my rehabilitation. The Invictus Games have given me something to look forward to.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

To have been able to serve my country in the Australian Army as a paratrooper.

Why did you apply for the Invictus Games?

To be able to meet and compete against other inspirational athletes from around the world is a privilege. I also wanted to remember those who didn’t make it home and honour their sacrifice.
