What is the Nature of your injury or illness?

I have a back injury as a result of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast while serving in Afghanistan.

What role has sport played in your rehabilitation?

Sport has given me focus and a goal to work towards. Without having this, recovery could have become dark, depressing and unachievable.

What is your greatest achievement to date?

Serving my country in the military.

Why did you apply for the Invictus Games?

I wanted to show others that you can use sport to pull yourself out of the darkness and not become a victim, defined by your injuries. I wanted to prove you are defined by your actions.
