2018 Consultations

MAY 17

Community Walk-in Session

On 17 May the Department of Defence held a Community Walk-in Session to provide the local community with an update on the detailed environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base Edinburgh and nearby areas.

Defence, contracted environmental experts and other key government department representatives were available to discuss and answer questions one-on-one about the progress of the Detailed Site Investigation, the Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment and next steps in the environmental investigation.
