Defence is holding a Community Walk-in Session to provide information on the detailed environmental investigation into per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at RAAF Base East Sale and nearby areas.
The session will include a presentation on the findings outlined in the final Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment that was conducted as part of the environmental investigation and a presentation from Environment Protection Authority Victoria.
There will also be an opportunity for the community to ask questions one-on-one about the environmental investigation before and after presentations with Defence, the investigation Project Team and other key government department representatives in attendance.

On 13 December 2016, two community walk-in session were held to allow interested landowners and others to get information on the findings to-date, to discuss any individual concerns and to provide input into the proposed Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment process.
