Fundraising for Children of East Timor by the RAAF East Sale Community

Since 2006, the East Timor Fundraising team at RAAF East Sale has been collecting money to assist a charity in East Timor to feed undernourished children.

The team was started by personnel and their families who wanted to donate money to children in need overseas, particularly in areas where RAAF personnel had recently served.

In addition to families at East Sale, the group has received funding support from the East Sale St. Mark's Congregation, students of the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning, the Rotary Club of Sale, and other organisations.

Donations have gone to the village children in Kasabauk, District of Covalima, and helped pay for food for the Sunday School Children in Railaco, District of Ermera.

AUGUST 2009 EAST SALE EVENT

The East Sale Family Group will be holding a coffee morning at the East Sale Chapel on the 6th of August 2009 at 1000hrs.
 
Please come donation in hand to the Chaplain’s Centre and enjoy coffee and cake.
