Coversational BBQ, 28 March 2014
At this month's Conversation BBQ, 'footy' was all the talk as DITC marked the start of the Aussie Rules football season! As revellers in their favourite colours passed around the 'dead horse' (tomato sauce), others sang rousing choruses of their team anthems while 'hopping into their chops' (eating their lunch). The competition got fierce when the handball target came out... and 'all and sundry' (everyone) went for 'maximum points' (the highest score). The styles were varied... and sometimes 'unorthodox' (untraditional), but the 'main game' (the focus) was good fun, camaraderie and a bit of 'Aussie kulcha' (Australian culture).
