GEOINT Support to National Security

DIGO provides GEOINT support to Federal and State government agencies in the areas of critical infrastructure protection, special security events and incident response task forces. The products and services delivered include unclassified imagery, tailored mapping and geospatial data/information-sharing services.

Support to special security events is determined by a number of factors, including the size of the event and the ability for jurisdictional agencies to support the event alone. GEOINT products can be tailored to meet the needs of customers involved in event security planning or tactical response.

DIGO can also provide GEOINT support in the event of a natural disaster or other significant event. Data, mapping and imagery products and services can be provided to responding agencies to assist with post-disaster recovery and reconstruction efforts. DIGO involvement can also include direct support from deployed analysts to provide timely geospatial data and products to assist in incident response operations.
