| Course Content | The course provides theory instruction on the basic components of E3 including sources and victims of electromagnetic interference (EMI), detection and prevention measures, tools for use in E3 management and an introduction to applicable standards. AIM: To graduate technical personnel capable of preventing and managing E3 problems to improve operational availability of ADF aircraft and systems. | ||
| Target Audience | The Designers course is aimed at the design engineer level, typically service and civilian personnel employed at aircraft SPO's and project offices; although it is also open to engineers employed at maintenance units. | ||

| Cost | Course costs: There is no cost involved for uniformed and APS personnel. Industry participants are required to pay a fee of A$1200 per person. For uniformed RAAF personnel ONLY: You will be sponsored from DP-AF funds for incidentals and domestic travel to and from the course location. This will be confirmed in the formal call for nominations via an DP-AF course panelling message. Once at the training location, all accommodation, meals and transport costs are the responsibility of the member's parent Unit. For all other ADO personnel and Defence contractors: The individual’s parent unit/organisation is responsible for funding travel, meals and accommodation to attend this course. This also applies when the individual is at the training location. NB: Individual participants are responsible for organising their travel, meals and accommodation to attend this course. Note: Where there is advice contrary to the above, this DGTA-ADF advice takes precedence. Personnel are to nominate through their Unit Training Coordinators via PMKEYS in the first instance.
