ContentContent: DO-178B is an international standard accepted by numerous international airworthiness authorities and it is the ADF preferred software assurance standard. The course provides a detailed examination of the standard's objectives and how to comply with them. The course is aimed at software practitioners directly involved in airborne software engineering and software assurance. However, Engineers conducting Design Approval and Design Acceptance of safety related aviation software will also find this course useful.

Nomination

Personnel are to nominate through their Unit Training Coordinators via PMKEYS in the first instance. If a UTC is unavailable, nominations can be submitted via the nomination forms attached.

CostThere is no cost involved for uniformed and APS personnel. Industry participants are asked to pay a pro-rata fee (in the past approx $2,600.00 per person).
Other Cost: Individual participants are responsible for organising and funding their travel, meals and accommodation.
