ATTENTION

    ADF AIRCRAFT SYSTEM SAFETY CONFERENCE - 2011 

HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED TO 22-23 MARCH 2012

The ADF Aircraft System Safety Conference that was scheduled for Wednesday 9 November 2011 has been re-scheduled to commence immediately after the ADF Senior Design Engineer (SDE) Symposium in March 2012.  The System Safety Conference will begin at approximately 1430 hrs on Thursday 22 March 2012 (at the conclusion of the DSE Symposium) and finish no later than 1500hrs on Friday 23 March 2012.  Confirmed start and completion times will be notified through the 2012 conference program.  The Conference will be held in the Theatrette of building L-474 at RAAF Base Willaims, Laverton Vic. 

The Conference theme for 2012 will be 'System Safety Regulation in the ADF'.  

Nominations for the 2012 conference will open 16th January 2012.  Personnel expecting to attend the conference are requested to advise me no later than 5 March 2012.  When nominating, please provide the following information for each person attending the conference:

• Title/rank;
• Name;
• Position;
• Organisation
• PMKeyS number (if applicable);
• Contact details (email, telephone, fax, mobile);
• any special dietary requirements;
• intention to stay on base accommodation or not (participants must organise their own travel and accommodation).

  The cost of travel, accommodation and incidentals are the responsibility of the attendee's organisation. Registration for the conference is free.  The Point of Contact for the Aircraft Systems Safety Conference  is Mr Colin Wilkinson on (03) 9256 3616.

  Please note: the one day Technical Risk Management and System Safety Course scheduled to be held on the day prior to the conference has been cancelled.
