Coalition Command & Control (C2)

Enhance Coalition C2 capability through secure, scalable and bandwidth sensitive technologies, within and between information domains of differing security classifications.
  1. Create a cohesive C2 relationship with and between Services, coalition partners and other government departments;
  2. Improve open and secure mobile C2 capabilities between communities of interest (COIs);
  3. Streamline operational decision-making for GWOT contingencies.

Coalition Information Sharing

Provide solutions that improve a commander's ability to share information with multi-lingual coalition partners that is secure, scalable and bandwidth sensitive. Included in this objective are improvements to language translation tools that provide grammatically correct, in appropriate military context, multi-language translations to support verbal and textual collaboration within and between disparate information domains.
  1. Multi-level and multi-domain security;
  2. Data fusion and dissemination; and,
  3. Improve utility, accuracy and language capacity of translation tools;
    1. voice-to-voice;
    2. written-to-voice, visa versa;
    3. user friendly displays

Integrated Logistics

Provide solutions for responsive, effective logistics within and between multiple information communities of interest (COIs).
  1. Develop the ability to assess equipment and personnel status of en route and/or deployed activities;
  2. Improve logistics data access, fusion and integration among COIs.

Continuity of Operations

Provide Command and Control solutions that enhance the commander's ability to plan, communicate, and affect operations while remotely deployed. Inherent in this objective is the ability of the commander to maintain situational awareness and connectivity with subordinate activities while en route to the theatre in crisis.
  • Enhance commander's ability to rapidly deploy a joint force headquarters;
  • Effective information dissemination and/or knowledge-enabled environment;
  • Situational awareness solutions.

Net Enabled Enterprise Services

Provide solutions that enhance the commander's ability to plan, share, and disseminate information among communities of interest (COIs), in a network-enabled environment.
  • Improve information assurance;
  • Improve horizontal data access, fusion and integration among COIs;
  • Improve vertical and horizontal information distribution.
