Whilst the meetings are not strictly programmed every six months, they aim to meet the needs of the attendees, and where possible, tie into major Defence activities to minimise resource burdens e.g. Pacific 2012, D+I Conference, Land Warfare Conference and the Avalon Airshow.

In an effort to improve communication between CDG and industry, CDG employs the Govdex websites, not only for the dissemination of information, but also as a vehicle for on-going interactive engagement between all members that was not previously available without a physical meeting. The front page is at www.govdex.gov.au

The EWGs are co-chaired by the appropriate environmental Director General "one star" and an industry co-chair. They involve briefings from Defence on the DCP projects and contemporary issues, and from industry on related issues and concerns. If you are interested in attending, you require to register through the Govdex sites by first contacting the Point of Contact for each EWG listed.
