Introduction

Cost Analysis (CA) Branch is responsible for providing advice on the financial resource aspects, both capital and operating, and associated risks relating to major investment proposals considered by the DCC or DCIC.

It conducts independent analysis and review of the costing of proposals and may generate independent cost estimates for key ones. Cost Analysis Branch is also responsible for the generation of process and guidance on cost estimation in CDG and for providing the interface with Department of Finance on major equipment costing issues.

The Branch is comprised of sections based on the Environmental areas and Command, Control, Communications, Computing , and Intelligence (C4I). The Head of Cost Analysis Branch is the Director of Investment Costing Analysis (Land).
