United Kingdom Ministry of Defence

The British Fromelles Project Team, part of the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC), part of the Service Personnel and Veterans' Agency, are running the Fromelles project for the United Kingdom.

The British Fromelels Project Team are trying to trace the families of those British soldiers believed to have been killed during the Battle of Fromelles on 19/20 July 1916.

If you believe that you are related to a British soldier who lost his life in that engagement, please contact the JCCC via the following with your telephone/mobile/email and relationship details:

  • Phone - +44 (0)1452 712612
    • Extension - 6256 or 7330 or 6303 or 6082.

This is a unique opportunity for you to be involved in a prestigious project and possibly enable your relative, if found, to be identified and given a final resting place in a named grave in a dedicated military cemetery.
