34 MP Pl

34th Military Police Platoon

‘To all from the Deep South'

With the onset of the Christmas/BRL period and the closure of another very productive year for 34 MP PL, we should reflect on our goals and achievement for 2006, which were given, at times, under some pretty amazing time lines.

The Pl participated on numerous activities in line with the CO's directive, these included EX Alamein Test which was a great success. The PL is about to embark on the two week Annual Cadet Camp, which will be a test of patience and endurance for the PL once the 600 cadets aged from 15 – 17 hit the ground.

The Platoon has lost a number of personnel this year for different reasons, so we have been extremely pro-active with recruiting, training new members as well as watching several members' progress from IET's to LCPL RACMP.

The good working relationship with SIB, has allowed PL members to utilise a valuable resource when required, and at the same time encourage them to take advantage of some valuable on the job training opportunities within the investigation arena.

All members of 34 MP PL would like to with all members of the Corps a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year.
