The Land Warfare Studies Centre has in the past conducted both the Chief of Army's Conference and the Chief of Army's Exercise, specifically to promote land warfare. The LWSC has also held both the Rowell Profession of Arms Seminar series and the Deputy Chief of Army Profession of Arms series for similar purposes. The LWSC now hosts the General Sir Vernon Sturdee Seminar series in conjunction with the Lowy Institute for International Policy.
