What are my essential requirements?

It is essential that you complete the following...
1 Maintain high personal standards on your instrument.
2 Pass a fitness test twice a year.
3 Pass a range shoot twice a year.
4 Have an annual health check which consists of a general health questionnaire, blood pressure check, hearing check, weight/height (BMI).

How much do I get paid?

At the moment the starting pay is about $75 per day, tax free. The pay goes up according to your rank and level of training. After recruit training the pay is about $90 per day, tax free. It goes up after that to about $150 a day for those that have been around for some time accumulating courses and experience.

Is it compulsory to attend?

Yes and No. We appreciate regular attendance so we can forecast the jobs we attend; however, if you need time off for important matters that is certainly acceptable. In general we expect to see you on Tuesday nights for rehearsals, following which you register on the jobs list which jobs you are available for.
