A course "Gunnery Support Driver Course was conducted on the weekend 6 October that saw the long awaited modules mounted onto the vehicles.
Despite the efforts of many, modifications will have to be made to retaining pins on the Unimogs as the modules were not able to be mounted correctly at the time of training.
There are two modules the Personnel Module and the Stores and Ammunition Module.
The Personnel Module seats eight personnel comfortably and will eliminate the need for coaches when 7 Field Battery deploys on field exercises.
