Mission/Role
RCB is to develop proficiency in infantry minor tactics and special-to-corps field training up to sub-unit level in order to promote Australia's defence relationships within the South East Asia region.
Unit Tasks
The tasks of the RCB are to:
- Practice infantry minor tactics training up to sub-unit level
- Improve battle-shooting skills
- Develop command & leadership skills
- Inter-operate with the forces of MY, SN, TH & BN
- Familiarise with the culture & language of SE Asia
- Develop knowledge of historical military operations in the region
Organisation
The RCB is established at 120 positions of all ranks and conducts a 3 month rotation through Butterworth under command of the 2/30 Trg Gp organisation .
