What or who is 2/30 TRG GP?

What is the relationship with RCB?

RCB is established under command of 2/30 TRG GP throughout their deployment. The OC RCB reports directly to the CO 2/30 TRG GP however the RCB is given all freedoms of movement and support to conduct their desired training as an independent company.

How do I get posted there?

There are only 6 x ARA positions within the 2/30 TRG GP organisation. If you meet the rank and employment criteria of the position/s we suggest you contact your career advisor to register your interest. The current positions are:

  • RAINF LTCOL (CO),
  • RAINF WO2 (Operations WO),
  • RACMP WO2 (Investigator),
  • AllCorps WO2 (RQMS),
  • RAAOC SGT (AT),
  • RAAOC SGT (Chief Clerk).

How long is a posting?

Postings are generally 3 years and usually align with the normal posting cycle. There may be some requirement to commence a posting pre-Christmas to conduct an in-country Handover/Takeover and then take leave from/within Malaysia.
