Regimental March and Song

RCB 82 - Training Update
RCB 82 made up largely of 2CER and supporting units is currently taking part in the bilateral Exercise Haringaroo 58 with the 4th Royal Ranger Regiment (aka Rejimen Renjer DiRaja or RRD) of the Malaysian Army.
They will also shortly undertake a series of survival and jungle training activities at the PULADA range in Malaysia followed by a series of urban warfare training activities in Singapore.
RCB 83 - Information Now Available
RCB 83 made up largely of 10/27 RSAR and supported by other 9 Bde units is scheduled deploy to Malaysia in August 2008.
RCB 83 is scheduled to take part in biltaeral defence Exercise Chapel Gold 08 with the Royal Thai Army in Thailand as well as conducting other activites including a series of regional military history tours.
RCB 83 is requested to browse and learn as much information from this website and other sources to ensure their tour is most productive.
Thailand Travel Update
In accordance with DFAT travel advice for Thailand, all military personnel movements have been suspended where it involves travel into the far southern Thai provinces of Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and Songkhla, including overland travel from and to the Malaysian border through these provinces.
All persons considering overland travel to Thailand from Malaysia are advised to consult the DFAT website
for further advice.

Welcome to the 2nd/30th Training Group website.
Whether you are deploying to Malaysia as a member of the Rifle Company Butterworth (RCB) or as a staff member of the 2nd/30th Training Group you will find all the necessary information here.
This website is designed to allow deploying commanders and personnel to conduct a smooth rotation into RCB with as few surprises as possible. We trust that this information will assist you in being prepared for all tasks on arrival and make the most of your time here.
