23 FIELD REGIMENT, ROYAL AUSTRALIAN ARTILLERY

Welcome to 23 Field Regiment

23 Field Regiment is Sydney's Premier Army Reserve Artillery Unit. We have Depots located in Kogarah, Sutherland, Holsworthy and Canberra.

The Regiment currently operates the L119 Hamel 105mm Howitzer and employs the latest state of the art gunnery computers and targeting aids.


Members of the unit train in a number of disciplines and provide valuable support to the Army, the community and the wider Australian Defence Force as part of the 2nd Division.

Weekly parades are held on Tuesday Nights from 7.30pm to 10.30pm at our various depots and weekend training is held at least once a month, culminating in a two week exercise each year
