The funeral for Alan Edward Porter (WO1 Retired) was conducted at St John's Anglican Church Raymond Terrace on the 6th December 2006. Alan died after a long battle with cancer.
Members of DFCE attended the Funeral to pay their respect as representatives of the Royal Australian Corp of Military Police.
Alan enlisted into the ARA on the 7th Mar 1972. He spent his first 2 years as a rifleman in 2 RAR and transferred in 1974 to the Royal Australian Corp of Military Police. He had numerous postings including 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 MP Coy's, 1 MCE and as RSM DFCE. Alan discharged on the 17 Mar 1998 after 26 years service. He was 52.

David Adrian Wiseman
1959 - 2006
The funeral for David Adrian Wiseman was held at the Gallipoli Barracks Chapel Enoggera on the 9th November 2006.
WO1 Dave Wiseman enlisted into the ARA on the 1st Nov 1983. He was posted to 8/9 RAR as a rifleman and transferred in 1985 to the Royal Australian Corp of Military Police. After 4 years he moved across to the SIB where he remained until his discharge from the ARA and transfer to the Army Reserve in 2005. He was 46.
