The Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme (DVA www Site) is a new home loan subsidy scheme for eligible ADF members and is administered by the Department Of Veteran Affairs. The scheme will be launched on the 1st of July 2008.

The Director of APA Melbourne has authorised the release of a Command/Management and Customer surveys.

The purpose of these surveys is to ascertain your views about the service provided to your unit by APA-M. We are seeking candid responses and constructive insights and suggestions in order to improve services to units in the Southern Region.

The Surveys have been distributed to Reserve unit hierarchy via email and utilise a simple web form to enter responses.

It is preferred that returns are sent via email, however, they can be faxed back to APA-M. We are hoping that the majority of Southern Region personnel will take a few minutes to complete and return the surveys.

Although the survey results will not be made generally available, they will be used by the Director and key staff of APA-M to improve the service to SR units and personnel.

On 7 Feb, the DFRT released a determination identifying Army Reserve Officer on the Discounted rate, would be placed within the GOPS.
