I wanted to join ADFA because I wanted to be in the Air Force, but I also wanted a tertiary education and ADFA offered both of those elements.
Moving away from home has been challenging and even though you lose some contact with your family, you gain a whole new one with all the friends that you make here. You get to live with 30 of your best mates.
When I leave ADFA, I will be doing human resource management and looking after Air Force personnel, making sure they have the training to go on deployment and that their families are looked after.
I think school leavers should consider ADFA because it provides so many opportunities, where you are guaranteed a job upon successful graduation. Some people don’t have the luxury of that at the moment.
